INITIATIVE PAYS DE LORIENT

Initiative Pays de Lorient is part of the 214 platforms of the Initiative France network.

A non-profit organisation, its mission is to help business creators and buyers to strengthen their personal financial contribution to facilitate obtaining a professional bank loan.

After an operations manager from the organisation has analysed the project and assessed requirements with the future entrepreneur, an interest-free loan (personal loan) can be included in their financing plan.

The project leader is then invited to stand in front of a committee of experts made up of volunteer business leaders and local entrepreneurship actors (bankers, legal experts, accountants, etc.). The latter decide on whether to grant the loan depending on the maturity and viability of the project, with a response given the same day.

If the committee responds positively, a sponsorship by a volunteer member of the organisation can also be proposed, thus allowing sharing of experience with an experienced business leader.
